The Lights, Camera, Action System™ can help your child unlock their creativity, build confidence, and make their very own short film in just 4 weeks—without feeling overwhelmed, stuck on where to start, or needing expensive equipment.
By joining, our goal is for kids to learn how to create their own films and bring their ideas to life while having fun.
Over the next 4 weeks, they’ll gain hands-on experience in storytelling, planning, and production. No more confusion about what to do next—just clear steps to turn imagination into reality.
We’ll guide them through the simple 3-step process, so they can master filmmaking and bring their stories to life.
👇 Here’s what they’ll accomplish using our system:
1. Create a Script
Storytelling is at the heart of filmmaking, and every great movie starts with a great script. That’s why the first step will be to teach kids how to develop their ideas into structured stories. They’ll learn how to create compelling characters, build engaging plots, and format their scripts properly—even if they’ve never written one before. By the end of this phase, they’ll have a fully developed script, ready for the next step in their filmmaking journey.
2. Plan Your Film Shoot
With a script in hand, it’s time to plan! Pre-production is where all the details come together, ensuring a smooth filming process. Kids will learn how to create storyboards, plan locations, and prepare costumes and props. They’ll also explore camera angles, lighting, and sound design to make their films look professional. By the end of this phase, they’ll be ready to bring their script to life with confidence and creativity.
3. Film!
Lights, camera, action! Now it’s time to film. With their script and pre-production plan ready, kids will step into the role of directors, cinematographers, and actors. They’ll learn the fundamentals of camera operation, scene blocking, and capturing the best takes. By the end of this phase, they’ll have all the footage they need to complete their very own film.
🤝 In just 4 weeks, kids will have the skills and confidence to create their own short films, express their creativity, and gain hands-on filmmaking experience. And the best part? They’ll walk away with a completed film they can share with family, friends, and even enter into film festivals! Not only because they’ve learned the technical skills, but because they’ve gained the confidence to tell their stories in a powerful way.
Keep wondering how to make a film…
